The IRMA Network is a tapestry of individuals, resources and organizations dedicated to providing a voice to those silenced by abortion and to extending hope, help, and healing from the emotional trauma. Our purpose is to provide safe places and ways to break the silence, to educate in after-abortion outreach, and to open the door to healing. Confidential services are provided free of cost or obligation.
We hope that this site helps you with information, support, and resources to help make sense of and heal your pain, or the pain of those you know, which frequently begins before and continues after an abortion. Both men and women experience abortion-related trauma, a form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sometimes known as post-abortion stress syndrome (PASS). We provide compassionate counseling and a listening ear if you are considering or have had an abortion. (A concise article explaining the symptoms is available here.)
